On the 21st of February a job fair was held in ICC Ghent by the bioscience engineering chair of Ghent University. AB InBev was present to meet students and present possible internship possibilities as well as starting positions for graduates. AB InBev is always thinking forward by looking for great people to take on new innovative projects to make the world a cleaner and a better place.
In an oral presentation session the project leader of the BEVERAGE project presented the way of working in our innovative R&D center. On top of this, a disruptive innovative project, the LIFE BEVERAGE project, was presented. It was shown how innovative projects in brewing can lead to a more efficient usage of natural resources and energy, hereby leading the way into a more sustainable brewing process. This is part of our very ambitious environmental goals.
Afterwards, the job fair was initiated, presenting the AB InBev culture and job opportunities. Delegates of the BEVERAGE project elaborated on the BEVERAGE project and its environmental implications. Furthermore, brochures of the project were handed out. In conclusion, this job fair was a good opportunity to present the BEVERAGE project to interested, young and dynamic engineers.
