Aiming for a cleaner, more circular world is a shared vision. That’s why we brought people together over fresh, organic Ginette beers – people from politics and the public sector, the private sector, academics and NGOs – for a dynamic conversation on sustainability.
On 22nd of November, we presented POLITICO’s Playbook Cocktail featuring a one-on-one interview with Jyrki Katainen, EU Commission VP for Jobs, Growth and Investment, with a real passion about Circular Economy. The interview focused on the Commission’s take on circular economy, the EU’s investment plan for Africa and the upcoming European elections. We contributed to this discussion with opening remarks from Richard White, VP Procurement and Sustainability ABI Europe. “Responsibility for our product goes far beyond the last sip of beer.” Richard White, and for that we are taking concrete actions to achieve this shared goal.
In a room with more than 100 people, we showed our commitment to renewables, our plans to increase recycled content in packaging and reduce plastic in our supply chain, our investment in three different start-ups via the 100+ Accelerator and the successful story of Canvas. We believe Circular Economy is the key to Europe’s sustainable future, but we need to work together.
