The Brewers of Europe have recently published the European Beer Pledge Report, in which they released a study undertaken by GfK. The study analyses consumers’ demand and interest in receiving the same ingredient and nutritional information for all alcoholic beverages through the different sources as currently provided on all other food and drink products.

Last Friday, we celebrated Global Be(er) Responsible Day (GBRD), a global beer industry-wide initiative that brings people together to raise awareness about the importance of making smart drinking choices. Launching the smart drinking City Pilot project in Leuven, Belgium

As part of our Global Smart Drinking Goals, we launch today the City Pilot project in our European Zone. The city that has been selected is Leuven, the leading university city in Belgium and home of both our Stella Artois brewery and of AB InBev’s global headquarters. Together with our external partners, we presented the ambitious plan to reduce the harmful use of alcohol in the city by 10% by 2020.

Bringing our Global Smart Drinking Goals to life: a bar that serves only no-alcohol and lower-alcohol beers

Since the launch of our Global Smart Drinking Goals in December last year we have started to work on new and exciting projects that we would like to share with you. An example of our efforts to provide consumers with more choice to make smart decisions is the launch of a “pop-up bar” which only serves no- and lower-alcohol beers.
